The Old Dam Road Reconstruction was designed under a County Grant and used Liquid Fuels Funds administered thru PennDOT. 

 

The project included a section within the floodplain where the profile was raised and another part of the project was adjacent to wetlands and involved property acquisition from a local farmer.

 

The road was designed per PennDOT and AASHTO standards.  Construction is scheduled for completion in 2007.

 

Wilson Consulting Group (WCG) was the prime consultant on this project:

 

WCG completed the following tasks;

·         Drainage Design

·         Hydraulic analysis using HEC-RAS

·         GP-11 for floodplain encroachment

·         Wetland Delineation and Bog turtle survey

·         Roadway Plans

·         E&SC Plans and LCCD Coordination
